Keratoconus is an eye disease that affects the front portion of the eyes “the cornea” the clear part in front of the eyes. After time passes the Keratoconus disease causes the normal pressure of the eye to move forward thinning the cornea creating a cone-shaped eye. It is rare that this condition would leave a person completely blind, but can really impair the vision significantly. According to experts 20% of people suffering from eye disease Keratoconus needed a cornea transplant.

No one knows how this disease started or what cause it, but there is evidence that suggests keratocous could be genetic and worsen by environmental factors. It’s completely normal for a person to have Keratoconus in both eyes, but it progresses differently in each eye. The eye disease Keratoconus usually begins at youth ages, and is slowly gets worse until it begins to stabilize between the ages of 30-40 years old.

Keratocous disease affects thousands of people in the world no mater color or race.
Most cases are resolved by placing rigid contact lenses to help correct the defect in the cornea and improve vision incredibly. The corrective lens should be the perfect size for each person. These lenses are ordered and personally created for each patient. The lens should be checked by a specialist in cornea constantly to prevent a change in the cornea and change the area or space of the eye lens and preventing scarring in the eye which would worsen the eye disease.

There are lenses for Keratoconus created from rigid contact lenses, corneal rings that straighten the cornea. The cornea specialist prescribed my wife a rigid lenses but soft around to make her feel more comfortable when wearing them. As a last option is surgery of the cornea, is a cornea transplant. This only takes about 2 hours to be finished and take about 12 months to heal but they say that it gives very good results and they put a healthy cornea that does not have any scars.

Most insurance cover from the lens to transplant, before it was a problem because it was not a common eye disease, but today it is and every day more people are diagnosed with the keratoconus disease companies are creating new lenses and techniques to allow you to see and sometimes better than before.

My wife’s right eye was 20/600; she is legally blind and could not see more than 1 foot away. With a corrective lens without magnification achieved 20/30. She will soon have a cornea transplant in a very short time and hope she can see well from both of her eyes. She is blind since she was a child and this was the best life can become to her.

Those who suffer from Keratoconus I urge you to visit a specialist in corneas as is a surgeon who specializes in Keratoconus or cataracts. Consult with them and they can help, but you do not have to suffer with this eye disease anymore as help is already available.

Close Kept Secrets to Weight Loss
Lesson #3

Whew! So how did you do on that last lesson? Have you been practicing? There was a lot of content to take in and absorb, and practicing the techniques as well. I wanted
to make sure I included it all so you could see it from start to finish.

Now, this is via e-mail, and my sessions over the phone and face-to-face, are longer. I’ve seen such amazing results with Rapid Eye Technology and Emotional Freedom
Techniques and it’s only over a short period of time. Everyone feels a substantial release only after one session.

We’re moving into a new reality with energy therapy. Take care of the problem in quick, easy steps. It’s very different than standard talk therapy, which some people have used
for several years to overcome a problem. I was here as well. I had been to see different therapists off and on, but never released the problem until I saw an energy practitioner. I understood the part my childhood played in my life; I just didn’t know
how to release the pain. Once I did, I felt pure euphoria (I love that word) and became a totally different person. It’s a very freeing experience!

So how long is a session? Sessions are one and half hours the first session to gain information on the client and one hour in subsequent sessions. Some people can actually
release their pain in three sessions…..a woman who suffered from sexual abuse from her father did just that. Incredible, isn’t it?

Once the pain is released, then the client is able to make new, healthy choices and live the life he or she is destined to have.

It’s amazing the pain we hold in our thoughts/our bodies and that becomes the basis of our existence. We tend to live life in struggle and we believe that this is what life
is supposed to be. We grew up thinking that life is hard and strife becomes our comfort.

We get stuck in our thoughts that there is no other choice. We think in terms of limits and we place those limits on ourselves with our thoughts. God has wonderful plans for
you; you just will continue to peel back layers to know your wholeness.

Here’s your homework. If you have’t written your affirmations, then this week take some time to do so. Spend time each day on your affirmations. The more positive information
you can bring into your energy space (this is the entire space around you) on a daily basis, the better. Make sure they’re in the present….I am powerful, I am my ideal weight, I am beautiful!

Remember, we have to break free of the negative programming that life is a struggle. Spend time doing positive things and affirmations is one way to do this. Have fun with this process. Turn on the music and dance while you’re reading them. I love butt-movin’ music. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?

Again, thank you for allowing me this opportunity to live my passion. I am destined to help you clear your negative stuff so you, the glorious child of God that you are, get to truly experience life on such a deeper spiritual level.

I can’t wait until next week when I get to talk to you again. Check out

Every year more than one million people get eye injuries, out of which ninety percent are preventable if safety eyewear is used. One hundred and twenty five thousand eye injury cases are caused by household products.

It is a good habit to wash hands regularly, especially after handling household chemicals. When using detergents and hazardous solvents, the handler must wear chemical safety goggles. Also, no children must be around while handling chemicals. While spraying, the nozzle must be turned away from the face. Fertilizers, pesticides and paints must be stored away from reach. While doing household activities proper protective gears such as goggles, gloves, boots and helmet should be worn, if required. The house must be illuminated adequately to avoid accidents in the dark. Stairs should also be illuminated and the rails must also be installed. The instructions for opening the tops of bottles must be read carefully to avoid them from popping and injuring other people. Children and adolescents should read instructions before handling operating equipment before playing games. All power equipment must be installed with guards. While playing outside, the eyes must be protected by UV protective goggles and it is a bad idea to look at the sun directly.

Precautions should not only be taken indoors, but outdoors too. This is because; more than forty thousand people get eye injuries outdoors. Ninety nine percent of the injuries are caused while playing sports. So it is necessary for the youngsters to wear protective eyewear while playing sports or when involved in outdoor recreational activities. A special helmet is designed with wire shield or polycarbonate face mask which is not only safe, but comfortable, too. Protective eyewear should also be worn while performing experiments in science lab. Fireworks must only be handled by adults.

Because of increasing use of computers, more and more youngsters are getting eye strains. The symptoms of eye strain caused by computer are red & watery eyes, focusing problems, aching & tired eyelids, eye muscle spasm, backache and headache. In such an environment, eye exercise must be done regularly. The eyes must be made to focus on distant objects and should be rotated from side to side. It is extremely important to give ample rest to the eyes. Glasses with UV shield must be worn when looking at the computer screen. Eye strain can be avoided by increasing the distance from the monitor.

Eye hazards are also caused when cosmetics are used improperly by contact lens wearers. Some of the adverse reactions are injury, eye irritation, allergy, dryness, infection, and lens deposition. That is the reason why adolescents must be made aware of the risk they will face when opting for contact lens. Girls should understand that they should buy hypoallergenic cosmetics and especially the non-scented variety, manufactured by big brand names. Cosmetics should not be shared with anything else. The applicator brushes must be washed regularly and old mascara must be disposed and not refilled. Eye shadows which are glittery, pearlized, frosted or iridescent contain ground tinsel or oyster shell, which should be always avoided. Eyeliner should not be applied in the inner lid edge. Loose powder should be avoided. Cream should not be applied near the eyes. The wearer should wash hands while handling contact lens. No crying, washing of face or bathing should be done with the contact lens on.
